We had a tig yarding of cows and heifers at our Pulakohe dairy sale cn Saturday, July 25th. There was a good demand at fiom £9 10s to £l2 15s for best cows; more backward, £6 to £7 35 ; aged and inferior, £3 10s to £5 15s. We held our usual monthly in ths Pukekohe yards on Monday, July 27th, and had a fair yarding for the time of the year. Buyers wire numerjus, and store cattlj met with a keen sale at highei piic s. At Tuakau, on FiHay last, we held a cl.aring sah of Messrs Young Brothers' live a d dead stock. There was a large attendance and good prices were realised. Best dairy cows told at from £9 to £l2 10s; others, £6 to £8 10s; pigp, 203 to £5; horses, to £25; milking plant realised £l2O, and sundries sold at ruling rate?. At Papakura yards on Tuesday we held a specie 1 horse sale, when not qu:te Ihe advertised number came forward, and competition was extra keen throughout. Heavy draught horse 3 sold at from £3O to £42; medium dreught horses, £lB to £2B 10-; light harness horses, £lO to £2l; hack?, £5 to £ls; weeds, 20s upwards; gig, pony ai.d harness realised £2O.

The markets this week have 1 een steady in most lines The poultry market was not so heavily supplied, but prices were about the same except for ducks, which were lower in value. I'igs are scarce and pi ices rule high. The potato market is very full and prices are much lower. Fiuit is getting short and piices are much firmer.
Poultry: Hens, prime 2s 2d to 2s d'J; good Is lOd to 3s; pullets, 2s 7il to Is 2d. Roosters, prime, 3s (id to Is 3d ; good 2s ( JJ to 3s 3d ; small, Is ltd to 2s. Ducks, 2s to 2s 7d ; geese, 3s ltd to os: turkeys, gobblers, 7s tn 12s fid Hens, 3s fid to 5 s <i 1.
l'igs, weancrs, 13s to 18s. Potatoes: Southern table, £1 to £5; southern seed varieties £5 to io 15; local tablo and seed, £2s l(>s to £3 lOd. Onions 8s !hl, Swedes £2 to £2 Ids, pumpkins £3 iOs to £4 15s.
