Our Drury conosporclent write:: On Wednesday, the 22cd inst., a wedding of considerable inter.st took place in St. John'd Anglican Church. Tne tontracting parties were Mi?s Edith Giic'.wood, eccond daughter of Mr Girdwood, ar.d Mr Douglas Hremner, both families being t Id and respected residents of the Drury di t:ict.

Tha church was very prettily decorated for the occasijn by lady friendj of the bride The Rev. Wrod, vicar of the parish, was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was piven away by her fathsr, wore a lovely gown of cream silk with silk lace and pearl trimmirgs, the veil bei'g finished with crange blossoms. Slu canied a beautiful shower boiq let of white flowers and maidenhair fern with white Eatin streamers. Four bridesmaids in atter.dar.ee w< iv Misses Flossie and Noia Girdwood (the bride's sisters) ar.d Misees Kflie and Joyce Bremner (Ihc bridj2rcorn's eisters), lna two first trifesmaids wore pretty gowns of white silk crepe, trimmed with tulle lace, white hats, and bouquets cf violets' and maidenhair ftrn. Misa EHic liremner was prettily gowned in white erepc de chine and lace, white velouT hat with blue mount, buuquet of violets and maidenhair fern. Miss Joyce Bremner wore a dainty frock ot palj blue silk, mob cap of sam°, a~d carried a bask'.t cf flowers. The best man was Mr 1). Thompson, and Moss.s B. A. Girdwcod and Wallace liremner acted as groomsm 11.

ftficr the ceremony a reception was held by trc bride's parents in the local hall, where the brid'j and bridegroom received the congratulations of their friends. The wedding breakfast was al.-o spread in the hall which was most tastefully decorated.
