LYCEUM PICTURES.

The cinematograph stands out today as the greatest educator of the age and amongst other things, hitherto unattainable, it brings the great Antarctic to our doors. Tonight and to-morrow night at the Premier Hall will bo screened a memorable lilui and historical record " With Scott to the Pole," the only ollieial films photographed on the journey by the eminent export, Mr Herbert I'onting, F.R.G.S., who accompanied tho expedition. The British Antarctic expedition under Captain Scott, R.N., left London in June, 1910. It was tho givatest scientific enterprise ever sent out of England. " When can their glory fade?" The late Captain Scott and his noble comrades who gave up their lives amid the fro/.en waters of tho cruel Antarctic in search for knowledge in tho cause of science wrote their names on the scroll of fame and enrolled themselves in the foremost rank of British heroes. At the immediate conclusion of the iilms, Scott's favourite hymn " Abide with me " will bo sung by a local ij'iurteUe. Mr Coady has made special airangements for a big attendance. Every parent should see that the children witness this wonderful and clucative picture.
