TONIGHT'S BENEFIT.
The programme for to-night's benefit concert has been specially selected for the occasion and includes a big variety of subjects. The chiof feature " The Parting of The Ways "is a " Duske " drama of rare and graphic strength. Among tbe many incidents depicted in this picture is the rescue of a girl from the top of a burning lighthouse by an aeroplane. Another dramatic picture play of mnch interest is " Her Two Jewels " by the Thanhouser Company. For the student, scholar and lover of the picturesque is a " Tour of Japan," featuring tbe strange blending of the European and the Oiiental. Charming views of Hakono lake conclude this delightful aud instructive series. For home dingers we have an engrossing film " Carnival week at Christchurch " showing the race for the NZ. Cup and nnny other sidelights of the great southern carnival of sport. With several others are included the ,Ecla ; r Journal and the favourite Pathe Gazette. Tho proceeds are in aid of the widow oE the late Mr Chas. Dunbar, of Puoi.
