PUKEKOHE VETERINARY CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Pukekolio District Farmers Veterinary Club was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Monday, Mr J. Sohlaepfer presiding. The annual report, which showed aifairs to be in a most prosperous state, and stated that the membership now totalled 325, was read and adopted. The balance-sheet showed recoipts to have totalled £333, and expenditure £331. The retiring live members of the Management Committee, Messrs Jno. Sehlaepfer, Pukekohe; D. Jamieson, Paerata; G. Proude, Bombay ; C F. Shipherd, Puni; and F. McGuire, Tuakau, were all re-elected. The opinion was expressed that the members' annual subscription .should be raised from 20s to 30s for members having 20 head of stock, and an extra charge of 15s for each additional 10 head, the Committee to take steps to give effect to this. A discussion ensued as to the advisability of consolidating the district but no action was taken, as the matter of the adjustment of boundaries is entirely iii the hands of the Management Committee.
