LYCEUM PICTURES.

Mr W. W. Francis, better known aa Skipper Francis, will appear in conjunction with the Lyceum Pictures tit the Premier Hall to-night. The film subjects are unusually tine, and, with Skipper Francis' turn, a bright and varied entertainment will be given. Hia film, picturing hit swim across the Bristol Channel, accompanied by a personal graphic description of the incidents connected with this wonderful feat will be particularly interesting. Apart from the film and his lecture, heis possessed of a fine baritone voice and will introduce some popular melodies. Prior to his present tour of the Dominion he wrs received by ex-President Roosevelt and Captain Amundsen. In New Zealand he bad the honour of being received by the members of the Hritish Parliament during their tour of the Dominion last year, and also received a cordial welcome at the hands of Sir Joseph Ward, 10-night this popular entertainer concludes his visit to New Zcalard with the performance at the Premier Theatre, whence he proceeds to Australia.
