AN AWHITU WEDDING.
x Watts—Hamilton. The. wedding cf Mr Leslie G. Watts, of Pirongia, Te Awamutu, younger son of Mr James Watts, Selwvn road, Epsom, to Miss Margaret E, Hamilton, second daughter of Mr James Hamilton, of Awhitu, was celebrated at "Waimatuka," Awhitu, on May 13th. The officiating minister was Rev. A. A. Murray, of St. Andrew's, Auckland.
The bride looked charming in a dainty robe of silky material, with an overskirt of beautiful line silky lace; she wore the orthodox veil and orange blo-scms and carried a shower bouquet of chryeantbeinuma and asparagus. The brioe was attended by three bridesmaid?, namely, Miss Mary Hamilton, sister of the bride, Miss Irene Watts, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Lilian Hamilton, youngest eister of the bride, who wore pretty robes of cream material with sashes of old gold eatin. They carried pretty boquets of white and gold chrysanthemums. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were dainty moonstone necklaces. Mr Percy Watts, brother of the bridegroom, acted as bestman, and Mr William Irwin, cousin of the bride, aB groomsman. Guests numbering 115 sat down to the wedding breakfast, which, was served in a large marquee, erected for the occasion. Afte/ the usual toasts had been responded to the gufestß all assembled to be photograDhed. The young couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents.
