Tlio monthly dance of the Fire Brigade wus hold in the Premier Hall on Thursday last, and although the weather wan unfavourable a number of dancers put in an appearance arid made the evening a successful uiul enjoyable one. Firstclass music was supplied by Miss Fulleng, and Messrs A. Edgar and H. Thornton were M.'aC. On account of the increasing popularity of tl;e Brigade's dances it has been decided to holil them in the Premier hall during the remainder of the dnncing season.
