NO-LICENSE LEAGUE.
The annual meeting of the Franklin No-License League wai h. 11 in tha Oddfellows' hall, Pukekohe. on Saturday aft'moot/, when leading representative of the movement in this cunstKuency were presents Ofh'ceis were elected as follows: President, Mr Hodge (Papatoetoe); vice-president), Mess;s J. A. Comrie and J. D. Chamer3; secretary and treasurer, Mr IJ. U. R. fllapon; assistant secretary, Mr J. Graham; auditor, Rev. G. Frost. Messrs Taylor, Pilkington, J. Gillon and Rtv. H. Nixon were appointed t) the executive. These are to be added to by two appeintments from each of the three local leagues— Pukekohe, Wsiuku and (he northern part of the electorate. Mr Hodge and the Rev. Porter were appointed delegates to the New Zealand convention, with Mr J. Graham as emergency. Mr Taylor and Rev. G. Frost were appointid representatives on tha Council in Auckland.
