Proposed Loan of £(>000 for the purpose of deepening the Waikato River at such places shown in the reports prepared by tho Hoard's Consulting Engineer. Tho Chairman, Members ami Inhabitants of tho Waikato River Board HEREBY GIVES NOTICE in pursuance of Section 8 of tho Pi initial Act : 1. That the purpose for which the proposed loan is required is the deepening of the Waikato River at such places shown in the Reports prepared by tho Board's Consulting Engineer. That Ihe Waikato River Board being unable to provide tho necessary funds for such works ( ut of the ordinary roveuues of the Board proposes to borrow a nun not exceeding £OOOO at a late of interest not exceeding lo per centum per .'3. That the proposed security for the repayment of suih loan shall be the revenues of tho Waikato River Board produced by u Special Rate levied on all the lands classed as A, B and L under tho jurisdiction of tho Waikato River Board. That the Waikato River Board proposes to pny oul of such loan such costs, charges an J expenses as the Waikato River Board may determine to have boon actually incurred iu connection with such loan but not the interest thereon for the first year.
