AUCKLA.ND PRODUCE MARKETS. Mr J. Jones, auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports Poultry this week was in heavy supply to a steady market. Prices were about the same as last quotation. Pigs show no change in prices. Poultry: Hens, good Is 9d to 2s 3d, ordinary Is 6d to Is Bd. Ducks Is lOd to 2s Bd, geese 3s 6d, roosters, prime 3s 6d to 4s 7d, good 3s to 3s 4d, ordinary 2s 6d to 2s 'Jd, cockrels Is to Is 9d, turkey gobbler 8s to lis 6d, hens 4s to 5s 6d. Pigs 4s to 9s 3d. Potatoes: good £4 to £4 15s, others £3 10s to £3 15s, poor £2 15s. Pumpkins £3 tp £3 10s. Onions 6s to 7s 'Jd ; picklers 7s 6d to 9s. Grain; Maize 4s 3d to 4s 8d ; wheat Is 'Jd, oats 2s 9d, bran £4 10s, sharps £7, barley £3 3s, Algerian oats 3s Bd, chaff £5 ex store.
