A. BUCKLAND AND SONS. We held our usual monthly sale m the Pukekohe yards on Monday, April 27th, and had a full yarding of stock, all classes being represented. There was a large attendance and buyers for all descriptions. Three aid a-half to 4-year-oHs. id forward condition, £7 Is to £8 12s; gcod 3 10 3J-year-old steers, £6 10s to £7; 24 to 3-year-olds, £5 15s to £6 10s; 18-months to 2-year-olds. £3 16s £4 15s; 18 months heifers, £2 17s to £4 3?; good calves, £1 14s to £2 3s, others £1 7s to £1 13s, smaller £1 to £! 6s, weedy 14s to 19s; fat stsers. £8 ta £lO 17s 6d; fat cows and heifers, £4 to £7 12s 6d. The Edvertised wethers made 18s.
Mr Ernest Piggott has been elected unopposed to represent the Buckland sub-division on the Pukekohe West Road Board No nominations were received for the Puni subdivision, and fresh nominations for these two vacancies will be received up to noon of the 15th inst.
