BUCKLAND.
BENEFIT CONCERT- AND DANCE. The second concert promoted by the Loyal Pukekohe Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F. held Bt Auckland on Thursday evening, in aid of the widow and child of a lutely deceased member of the lodge, proved quite as successful as its predecessor held the previous week in Fukekolip. 'I ho chair was taken by liro. C. K. Lawric, Mayor of Pukckohe. A danco followed the concert. The total proceed", which amounted to XI, were announced by the chairman to be net, the hall having been placed gratuitously by the trustees at the disposal of the lodge, while the dance music wn* also provided without charge fry Mrs W. Davy. The Pukekohe quartette sang, and songs were rendered t.y Messrs A. W. Young, W. Jones, McNally, Stanton, Morguii, and IS. H, Andrew, clarionet solo, Mr Mount joy; duel, Mrs McNally and Mr A. Young; tonga by Mrs T. Young, Miss tiagnall, Miss A. Hewitt; violin solo, Mrs li. 11. Andrew. Those who presided at the piano were Miss Penman, Mrs Andrew, Miss Hagnall and Mid A. Hewitt. Both the concert and dance were voted a complete success and were greatly enjoyed.
