DRURY.
THE FARMERS' UNION. The annual meeting of the Drury branch cf the Farmers' Union was held in the Public Hall on Saturday cvenng, 7th inst. The president, Mr Flanagan, presided, and there was a good attendance of. memoirs. A large amount of useful business was transacted. Mt Jos. Flanagan was re-elected president for (he ensuing year, Mr J. Fitzgerald vicepresident, and Mr Fielding secretary and treasurer. FAKMINU OPERATIONS. Twelve hours of good rain just now would bo very acceptable Apart from the reed of rain the weather is delightful, Our farmers are getting a lot of useful work done in the way cf pre* paraliona for grass s:ed sowing.
