TE KAUWHATA.
SALL OF SECTIONS. A number of Crown section*, situated in and around the town of Tc Kauwhata, which is on the Main ltunk line, 54 miles tquth of Auckland, were ottered for Bale by public auction on Friday at District Lane's and Survey Office. There was only a fair attendance of buyers, and the bidding was not generally very brisk. Of the 51 town sections ottered 28 were passed in, while only one of the 1- suburban sections was sold. The sale was held under the provisions of the Land Act, 11)08. Tc Kauwhata residents were the principal purchasers Mr H. S. Valentine, of Mercer, bought section 20, Ir. Sp., for £l9, the upset price being £ls. Mr L. It. Pulham, of Mercer, bought section 21, lr. Pp., at the upset price, £ls.
