Orders were made for judgment creditcrs in the following cays: J. ard H. Henderson v. Wi Maki, £l(s 18* sd, F. Perkins ard Co. v. A. Flavell, £2 2a lid; McLean Bros. v. M. Rcdley, £l3 2s 2d. MAINTENANCE VV'm. H. Stayte, at present a resident in Hasting?, wai ordered to con ribute lbs a week towards the maintenance of his wi f e, Eliza Sfayle. DEFENDED CASE. J. A. Ritchie (Mr Fitzhcrbert) claimed from R. Bradbury 'Mr Haddow) the eum of £2S 12s 9d for carting. The case narrowed it«?c 1 f down to a dispute between the parties as to what arrangement was for carting goods from e'efendant'B yard to his customers, plaintifF contending that it was agreed thst he shculd charga the dffendant, whilst , the defendant said that the plaintiff had to collect from the customer?. ! Defendant admitted that £23 13s 9d | was nwing by him. After hearing evidence judgment j was give for the amount claimed, i le.ss 14s.
