BAND OF HOPE. The first Band of Hope meeting lor the year wai held on Wednesday, 11th February. As usual it was well attended, and a fair programme was very well rendered. lhe members were very enthusiastic in their welcome to Mr W. Dixur, an old member who has lately returned from a trip to the Old Land, and very ably sung two songs and with Mr J. Brooks gave a cornet duet

The Kev. Madill presided and exhorted all the members to do their best this year to carry prohibition. He ak-io impressed upon their minds the fact that the next meeting would be the anniversary tea meeting:

Miss D. McNaughton Rave an amusing comic performance on the piano, and Mis? G. McNaughton played the opening piece and the accompaniments with her usual skill. A very pleasant evening was brought to a cloac with the Benediction.
