DRURY.

A meeting of the Hall Committee was held on Saturday evening. It was reported that an additional piece of lard had been purchased from Mrs Brooks, which had been surveyed as well as the boundaries of the hall section itself. This extra piece was purchased in view of extending the hall barkwards, the other idea of extending it forward on to the road having been abandoned. A committee consisting of Messrs Glaseon, Thompson, E. Fielding, D. Bremner, H. Hamilton and T. Swann waa elected to devise what they deem to be the best method of improvement and to submit it to the directors for their aoproval. The general idea is to a'id °5 feet to the main hall, and to provide a stage, a supper room and dressing rooms.
