ARE YOU GETTING READY? A month passes very quickly and there ii less than a month now to the twenty-ninth annual Show to be held in Pukekobs under the auspices ct the Eranklin A. and P. Society, 'i he Show is to be held on Friday and Saturday, February 20th and 21st. Just now it n most important to rcmembur that the entries close on 'fr.utsday, February sth. This exposition it guirg to beat nil previous records in numbei of entries and in point of attendance the record of last year h bour.d to be overshadowed. The best Show in thirty years is bound io attract the biggest crowd ever s;cn on the Pukekohe Showgrounds. This will jirobatly be the last occasion upon which the Show will be held on the old grounds. In many respects theje grounds are most suitable, but from the point of view of railway convenience they cannot compare with the uew grounds. In addition, the latter have a panoramic vhw of the Pukekohe hill which ij possilly unrivalled in the district. I
Mr A. E. Macredie, of Auckland, who has teen elected a member of the Franklin A. and P. Society, has wiitten to tr.c secretary as foU lows:—"I will do what 1 c=n to further the interests of the Society. I would take it as a favour if you would call the first time you are in town. I wish to offer for competition a tea ard coffee service which you can take with you ar,d the c. mmiitec can decide what to do with it! ' That is the sort of practical asp'stance that the commiittea like.
