At this rate, she would produce 350 ibs of butter-fat in six months, and it is anticipated that 5001bs of butter-fat will result from the season's milking, which, calculated at Is per lb, gives a return of £25, besides the increase and skim milk. The heaviest monthly yield was recorded in Oc tober, the figures being: Milk 14261d5, t;st 4.6, butter-fat 65.601b5, return at Is per lb £3 5s 6d.
