At the conclusion the chairman nnd others expressed absolute conlidence in the ultimate success of the scheme for the distribution of electrical energy would be of the greatest advantage to the country. The chairman poiattd ou', however, that, although the County Council itself would be quite willing to go on with the p-oposal, it remained for the various other budie'3 which would participate in the beneli's to guarantee tl.eir financial support. It was unfortunate that there were not more delegates present, as without the opinions of the hedies cuncerntd nothing definite could be done. He therefore moved, "Thßt the County Council will be prepared to go further into the "matter upon receiving a notification from the local bodies concerned that they aie prepared to use and give their financial support to the tcheme, and that chairmen of local bodies be requested to call meetings cf the ratepayers in their several districts to consider the matter." This was carried.
