The construction of the Paeroa-Pokeno s.ction of line would enable all traflic from Morrinsville, Thames, Te Aroha, et'*,. besides that of the East Coast, to be diverted to this new sretiun, and this would permit the whole ol the | railway traflic tr. the centre of the J North Island to be simplified. Transport would be greatly facilitated. and it would mean a great saviig in the journey from the East j Coast to Auckland.
