Hobbs, of Te Arohn, under date January 1 Gth, 1914, writes: "1 herewith enclose postal rote for 2a 3d*which, if I remember correctly, is the amount quoted fy you for two insertions of advertisement re lost hand-bag. I am glad to say that the bag reached Te Aroha some 3 or 4 days before I arrived there on the 9th inst. Incidentally it was fcurd by Mr F. E. Blown, of Harrisville, near hia place. I was very pleased to get the tag back again, and herewith gratefully acknowledge the good medium your paper has proved for the insertion of advertisement for same." Another Auckland advertiser who also lost his bag promptly recovered the same as a result of advertising. It pays'.' Of course it does,
