A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

Whilst out Haymaking.

A rather serious accident happened to Mr Eeid Harper, of Eosedale Park, Pukekohe. While hay-mak-ing two horses in a waggon bolted. In attempting to stop the runaway ho was knocked down, one horse treading on him and the wheels passing; over his shoulder. Dr Wake was on the scene in less than half an hour and pronounced him to be suffering from concussion of the brain ami an injured lung, though no bones were broken. Fortunately the waggon was empty, otherwise the accident might easily have proved fatal. Mr Harper is progressing very favourably at present.
