NEW BUILDING.

Church at Otau. A new Presbyterian church is to be erected at Otau, and the plans and specifications for the work have been prepared by Mr F. W. Mountjoy, architect, of Pukekohe. The church, which is to be built of wged, is neatly designed. The maiti floor will have an area 30 feet by 20 feet, end there will be a vestry room 11 feet by 7 feet 6 inches attached to the church. The woodwork outside the building is to be of matai, while all the woodwork for the interior of the church will be of rirnu. The ceiling is to be formed of asbestos sheeting. "A neat pulpit is to te erected in the church, the floor of which will be 1\ f eet above the church floor. On the top cf the building a belfry n to be constructed. The rcof of the church is to be covered with galvanised iron, and this will be covered with hematite paint. When completed the buijding should pro. vide a very neat and compact place of worship. Tenders for the work of construction have been called for, and these will close on January sth.
