• The sequel to the £IOO collection recently taken in the Pukekoho Methodist Church is to ho seen in a thoroughly renovated church. The re-opening services were held on Sunday, good congregations assembling. The painting contract, carried out by Mr Rawlinsou, included the interior decoration of the building in four colours, which blend with very pleasing effect. There is also a most effectivo lighting by gas, the installation having been made by Mr W. S. Russell, of this town. Many other improvements have been introduced and the church bias now a most attractive appearance. In further celobration of the re-opening' Principal Garland, of the Methodist Theological,- College in Auckland, will lecture in the church on Thurs* day evening.
