There has been a phenomenal increase in the incomings and outgoings of the various dairy factories, particularly in South Taranaki. The Kaupokonui Co-operative Factory, for instance, received 8,3.55,371 lb of milk for the month of October last, valued at £15,019, as against 7,665,075, valued at £13,724, for the corresponding month of last year. The Eiverdale Co-operative Dairy Factory Company beat all previous records on Friday lust with 106,7271b of milk. The total received for the month of November was 3,013,5071b, as against 2,934,2001b for the corresponding month of last year. It is interesting to note that the total weight of milk received by this company in the first year of its operations, 1894-5, was only 2,762,961 lb. This increased to millions in 1905 and jumped up to 17.] millions in 4906. Since then it has steadily increased year by year.
