Pukekohe v. Papatoetoe.
The Pukekohe club visited Papatoetoe on Saturday and were defeated by live matches to four. The weather was perfect and combined with the cordial hospitality shown made it a most enjoyable day's outing for the visitors. The matches were coniined to doubles, singles not being played. In the ladies Papatoetoe were the stronger but in the men Pukekohe held the advantage. The combined doubles produced the struggle and it was a pity that the deciding match had to be played when " the shades of night were fulling fast."
