On Saturday Waiuku scored a two point win over Pukekoho A. Batting- lirst Waiuku made 100, Cromwell top-scoring with 48, and receiving good support from Dr Howden (28) and JC Harris (15). Blake and Brown divided bowling honours. Pukekoho on going to the wickets were dismissed for 13 short of their opponents' total. Mr Woollett advocated tin formation of a Sports Ij n agU'3 for Pukekohe to embrace winter an 1 summer sports, bat as it was too large a subject to be dealt with by one club it was referred to the cmimittee to approach the various clubs wrli a view to getting them to co-operate with the Cricket Club in the matter. The following were elected as selectors for the two teams A : Messrs F. lJeliiugham, J. F. Deane and McGlynn ; B : Messrs B. Bright, W. Daz-l'y and A. 0. Woollett. It was decided to place the club's ground at the disposal of the Manukau Association for one day during the holidays lor a representative match ; the Association being asked to notify the el ub as to what date they would select on or before December 1 lib, in order to give the secretary time to make arrangements tor club matches on the other vacant dates. A voto of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting.
