LADiES' EUoHRE PARTY. The ladies' euchre party, which had been unavoidably postponed from last week, was in Id on Monday night. Tha affair 'va3 a return from the ladiss to the Farmers' Union members as an acknowledgment cf ths many ple?sant evenirga spent during the past winter. The men folk so appreciated the idea as to turn out 2 to 1 to the ladies, but these present did their utmost to mike the proceedings enjoyable. Somi) splendid prizes were provided and were allotted as tollows: Lsdier—Mrs H. Crispe, first with 11 wins out ot 15 games played, priz?, a glass fruit dish; Mrs Zinzan, second, 10 wins, prize, a teapot. Men—Members: Mr W. Finlay firs', 11 win j , prize, marble irk stan:!. Non-members: Mr J, Q'linn. lo wins, prize, piiotn frame.
"Consolation" prizes W3re presented ti Messrs J. Forbts and P. Taylor and Mis.i Pleydll, some amusement being provided by the donating of two large wooden tipuons and a tuy rattle Thi< evening brings the Farmers' Union euchre parties to a close fur the Eeason.
