MERCER.
At the annual social and dance of the United Football Club, to b3 held in King Edward Hall to-night, a presentation is to be made to the captain, Mr J. Dean. The Mercer Rowing Cl'ib'a season gives promise of being prosperous. To-morrow the opening takes place when crews from Ngaruawahia, Hamilton and Auckland will try conclusions with the local club.
