lii tiie early part of this week Mr J. B. Brown, of Pukekohe, returned home after a six weeks' trip to Australia, hia native ccuctry. In company with hi? brother Arthur, of Mar.anui, in Ihe King Country, Mr Brown journeyed from Auckland to Sydney. A few days were spent in lln capital of New South Wales. From there they visited Black Heath, in the Blue Mountains, ani then Raglan, which is near Bathurit, and soin? 186 miles north of Sydney. From Batnurst to Melbourne, via Sydney, an 800 mile train run was next undertaken. In each of these places a few days sight-seeing was enjoyed, the beautiful road-side paiks and gardens of tha Victorian metropolis greatly ac'mircd. Back to Sydney and away to Dungng, to East Maitland, to Newcastle and back to Sidney. All these places afforded much interest, and finally the run back from Sydney to Auckland. A rcugh sea rasssge homa made a rather unpleasant termination, hut Mr Brown returned in good health and with many happy memories of his Australian tour.
