FUKEKOHE CATTLE SALE. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons report: We held our usual monthly saie in the Pukekohe Yards on Monday, May 26th, and for the time of the year had a large yarding. Buyira were in attendance, snd a better demand existed for all classes of stores. Dairy cattls sold at ruling high prices. Dairy cows and heifers brought trcm £5 to £ll 5?, nothing special yarded; empty cows, £2 10s to £4; forward 3 \ to 4-year-old stetr?, £6 15s to £7 12s; 3-year-olds, in fret) condition. £5 10a lo £6 10s; 18-montha to 2-year-old steers, £3 12s to £4 15i; good calves to yearling?, £2 2s lo £2 16s; calves, £1 10s to £1 16s; smaller sorts, £1 to £1 8s; weedy, 12s to 17s Fat catll3 sold at about Westtield rates Steers, £7 53 to £9 17s 6d; cows and ht iters, £4 to £7 7s 6d. PAPARATA AND CLEVEUON The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co, Ltd., report:— At Paparata on Saturday, by order of the sheriff's officer (under bill of sale of live and dead stock of P.. J. Multurn), there wes a good attendance, and satisfactory prices were re;lised. D.iiry cows, £5 15s to £lO ss; yearling heifers, £2 15s. At Clevedon on Tuesday, we held a clearing sale of Mr John Sloane's live an J dead stock. There was a good attendance, and everything sold well.
