The final for the Mills trophy was played on the Pukeknhe croquet lawn on Tuesday afternoon, when Mesdames Lawrie and Smith scored a good victory over Mesdame3 Kerr and Crum, thereby winning the championship doubles. A meeting of tl)3 Pukekohe District Gun Club Lommittee was held at the Pukekohe holol oa Wednesday evening; present—Messrs Beatty (in the chair), (Jatdner, McGougli. Wilson, Vujucich and Daysh, Messrs Endean anil Holloway were appointed honorary solicitors. A considerable amount of minor business was transacted and final arrangements were made for the team's trip to Te Awaniutu.
