V The Abbott Cup. The members of the Pukekohe Gun Club spent an interesting day | on Saturday, although a heavy wind mad 3 first-class shooting very difficult. There were 14 competitors for the Abbott Cup, lu birds, and the trophy was won by J. Gardner, 14 yardi, with 8 birds, 6 of which fell to the first barrel. R. Fitness was second with 7 birds. 6 to the first barrel. Other competitors were: A Vujucich 17, J. Beatty 12 and J. Kennally 13 yards, 6 birds each; J. Reynolds 18, R. Erlandson 15 yards, 5 birds each; W. Wilson 18, J. Fausett 18, J Bowden 12, A. P. Daysh 12 yards, 4 birds each; L. Eyre 15, R. McGough 13 yard?, 3 birds each; H Barber, 12 yards, 1 bird. A five-bird sweepstake was won uy J. Fausett, 15 yards, with three firstbarrel birds; W. Wikon, 15 yards, was second with three birds, tvo first-banel. There were thirteen competitors. MATCH AGAINST WAIUKU. The following team will represent Pukekohe Club in the return match against Waiuku Gun Club, at Waiuku, on Saturday next:—*. Mouldey. J. Fausett, A. Vujucich, J. Gardner, w.
