SCHOOL AT KOHANGA The settlement of Kohanga, ut six miles from Onewhero, has for a long time been endeavouring to get f school established, Through the efforts oL, Mr S. H. Lee. We request has at last been granted, and Mr V. R Vos has been appoint* d as teacher. The school will be carried on in a abed belonging to the Maori Whisky and is to open on Tuesday, ,Ap*il Ist. Atrut 50 child ei', chiefly native, will be ready fur the opening, «o it is hoped that very shortly a proper schoolroom will be built.
