The tournament between members of the Tuakau Club was advanced a stage further during the week by Mrs Free and Young playing Mrs Nortbmore and Lipanowiych, resulting In a win for the former, 6—2, 6-4. PUKEKOBE CLUB. During the past week the Pukekohe courts have been kept busy every night, the tournament* naw in progress being responsible for the additional interest. During the week the second round of the Mixed Doubles Tournament has been played, and in nearly all casta the results were very close, A start has b°en made with tbe Bandicap Singles, the first rour.d of which has to be finished by Saturday. The results of the games played during the week were: — Mixed Doubles—Barker and Miss Ramsay receive 15, beat Willis and Mrs Bailey receive 10, 50—47; Carroll and Miss Dell receive 5. beat Cargill and Mrs Motion owe 20, 50—49; Cooper and Miss Wilkinson receives, beat Curd and Mm Curd owe 10, 50—48; Johns and Mrs Cooper owe 5, beat Russell and Miss ' Cargill receive 15, 50—46; L.odge and Miss Brown scratch, beat Thornton and Mrs Bockett receive 10, 50—44; Bopkins and Miss J. Bilkey scratch, beat Bockett and Miss G. Bilkey owe 15, 50-37. , Handicap Singles—Corbett owe 10, beat Thornton receive 10, 50-43.
