Perkins' Medal—Wake 23, Andrew 12; fownson 24, Eames 18; Egginton 16, Bockett 15; J. Adams 37, Smith 8; Grant 35, Jefferies 12; l.awrie 25, Grigor 16. Lawrie Medal-Barter 28, Crum 10; Andrew 24, W. Adams 22; Lawrie 40, Phillipps 6; Andrew 31, Jefferies 12; Eames 20, Townson 12; Mclntrye 23, Peikins 11; Daysh 17, W. Wright 13; Cahill 26, Egginton 8; Howard 20, Graham 10; Lusher 17, Lawrie 15 (Lawrie won with his handicap); Cahill 25, Grant 14; W. Roulston 22, Wnke 13. The Cock o' the Walk changed hands twice on Saturday. In the first match Hewson beat Eames by 20 to 19. The scores were even on the twenty-first head and it was agreed to play one head, which the challenger won by a raking shot, which took the jack away from a position in which it was nearly kissing the holder's towl. Ihe victor did not hold the trophy long. Almost immediately Hewson, in a sportsmanlike faahion, accepted a challenge from Blake and suffered defeat by 24 toll. It is the holder's privilege, if he eo desire, not te play more than one match a week. Since the above scores were put into type Egginton and Graham have beaten Bockett and Cahill in the Champion Pairs. The second round has been drawn lor the Perkins and j Lawrie medal, and the games in the 1 fresh rounds are now in progress.
