Dairy cows and horses were getting more valuable every year, and the stock would have to t.e con-idered, After some further discussion it w:;a decided, en the motion of Messrs Schlaepfer and McCormick, that steps be taken to canvass the district and sec what support cojld ba obt-iined to provide a guarantee for a veterinary surgeon in the district.
It was decided thai the basis of the guarantee be £\ for the first 2U coab or hor ; ee, or part thereof, and 10s for every additional ten horses cr cow 9, or i art thereof.
