An application was received from Mr Pulinan, asking to be allowed to construct an outlet into the Eastern drain. lie offered to do the work if the Board would iind the pipes. Mr Hull considered that Mr Pulinan should certainly ho helped in i the matter. I Mr S. SPENCER'S DRAIN. Mr Henry said ho wished the i Board to view and point out to him i when- they would like improvements : made in Spencer's drain before ho i handed it over to them, as ho wished : to leave it ill good order. It was arranged to meet and view ■ the drain on the 18th inst., Mr Spencer to be notiliod to attend. FINANCE. As this Board have over 22 miles ol drains under their charge, their action.-, are of great importance- to a large number of settlers iu the Aka Aka and Otaua district.
