What Shall Outsiders be Charged ? Who Pays for Connections ?
The water engineer (Mr Wyett) asked the Borough Council at Wednesday evening's meeting what action he was to take with respect to water connections for outside pro p. r.ies. He had been approached liV inn 1 pei'-on who wanted the water, and on the pipe line three other people would be served. Cr Hamilton said it was understood at the public meeting that consumers oii'sido would themselves pay to have the drains put in. The Mayor: Yes ; they have ti pay for the work from our pipe line to where they want it. Cr Hamilton: And they pay 1> '.id per IuOO gallons for the water.
