A Presentation.
On Wednesday evening, last week, the young people of the district and other residents assembled at the residence of Mr and Mrs Jefferis for the purpose of tendering a "kitchen evening" to Miss Innes. who is shortly to be married. In a happy speech Mr f. Walker made tbe presentation of ttifts, which included all manner of articles pertaining to a kitchen, and wished the recipient every happiness and success in her future home. Games and dancing, intermingled with song, furnished a most pleasurable evening.
