He thought they might secure Mr Ferguson's services and so get over the scarcity of metal. The advertisement referred to had only appeared once (and it was a little chap, too) before the meeting. Alfred Buckland and Sons have a goodly array of auction sales forthcoming in this district. On September 27 they hold a clearing saie at Rama Rama (Mrs Barclay's), on September 28 a special dairy sale and on September 30 a big cattle sale in the Pukekohe yards, on October 3 a clearing sale at Tuakau (Mr R. B. Lutman's) and on October 5 a clearing sale at Runciman (Mr James Ballard's.) Full particulars of all these sales are advertised.
