He protests against our correspondent's reference to land values, and says that in Essex he had splendid farming land offered to him at from IGd to £ 1 per acre, with commodious store, residence, and ample buildings. According to Mr Burdeis tho labourers in England receive many advantages over their weekly pay. "They are not requested to rise at 4 o'clock in the morning and milk cows, and again in tho evening, after the day's work, which I fear is only too common hero."
