The Body corporate the MayorCouncillor*; and Burgesses of the Borough of Pukekohc hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise a srecial loan for the purposes following: 1. Providing a drainage system for the following Streets within the Special Rating Area of the late Pukekohc Town District, viz., Harris Street, King St., Hail St., Library Road, Secldon St. to : North of Convent, Blake Rd., Tobin St., Edinburgh St., Prospect Terrace, Railway Rd., Berriman's Rd., Harrington Avenue, Manukau Rd. to six chains South of Harris Street, Queen Street to six chains South of Harris Street, West Road to six chains West of Helvetia Road, Helvetia Road to six chains North of Victoria Street, Victoria Street from six chains West of Helvetia Road to Seddon Street, and for payment of all legal, clerical, advertising, banking, brokerage and other charges incidental to the raising of the said loan, and payment of all engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of the said works £7OOO 2. Installing drainage connections in the premises of occupiers adjoining the above Streets, and payment of all clerical, engineering and other expenses incidental therewith, the cost of such installations to be repaid by the respective occupiers on terms to be arranged between the respective occupiers and the Council; the legal, clerical, advertising, banking, brokerage and other charges and cost of and incidental to the raising of the said loan and the interest on the said loan for the first vear £3OOO The amount to be raised tor each of the above purposes respectively is that mentioned above after each purpose. The total amount of the proposed loan is £IO,OOO. The proposed security for the said loan, and for payment of the sinking fund (amounting to £l per centum per annum) and interest is a Special Rate of 6-7 d. in the Pound proposed to be made and levied on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Special Rating Area of the late PukekoheTown District. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of live years from the raising of the loan. The Body Corporate The Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Pukekohe hereby gives notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Ll7">o for the purpose of replacing the amounts allocated in the loan raised by the late Pukekohe Town Board as specified in the ballot-paper at the poll taken by the Board on the 10th Day of JANUARY, 1911, and which have not been expended on the roads, therein mentioned and paying al 1 engineering, clerical and other expenses incidental to the carrying out of such work. The proposed security for the said loan and for payment of the sinking fund (amounting to LI per centum per annum), and interest is a Special Rate of l-6cl. in the Pound proposed to be made and levied on the rateable value of all rateable property within the special rating area of the late Pukekohe Town district. The whole loan is to be repayable within a period of five years from the raising of the loan. DRURY ROAD BOARD. Notice of Bye-Laws for Heavy Traffic. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Drury Road Board held on Saturday, the 17th day of August, 1912, A resolution, the object and purport of which is hereunder set out, was duly passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the Board to be held on WEDNESDAY, the 18th day of September, 1912, at the Board's Office, Drury, at 7.30 p.m.
RESOLUTION. "In exorcise of the powers conferred on it by Section 151 of ' The Public Works Act, 1908,' the Drury Road Board hereby makes by Special Order a By-law forbidding the conduct of particular kinds of traffic on the roads under its control unless the cost of reinstating the road is previously paid to it. A full copy of this By-law is deposited at the Road Board's Office at the residence of the clork, Druiy. and is open to the inspection of the public during Office hours until the 17th day of September next."
