In accordance wi*h the prousions of the " Land Drainage Act, 1908," and the " Rating Act, 1908," it is the intention of the Otaua Drainage Board at a meeting to be held on Monday, August 19th, 1912, at the office of the Board, Otaua, to strike and levy a general drainage rate upon the classified rateable value of all the rateable properties within the horidaries of the Otaua Drainage D ; strict for the period commencing the lirsr day of Apr', 1912, and ending the 31st day of March, 1913, such rate to he as fol'ows : Viz., one penny ha'.fperny (lid) in the £ on f-st-class lands, one penny (Id) in the £' on second-class lands, and one hu'fpeuny (Jd' ; 'ithe £ on third-class lands; fou-th class lands to he exempt; the said rate to bo due and payable to the co'lector in one instalment at my residence, Otaua, on find after August 19th, 1912, and where the rate book may be seen.
