REFORM LEAGUE.
The annual meeting was held on Saturday evening, when there was a good attendance, Mr J. Schlaepfer presiding. Annual report, showing good work done, was adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows :—President, J. Schlaepfer; vice-presidents, Messrs C. Shipherd, J. Bilkey; committee, Messrs Rutherford, J. W. Johns, Lawrie, Ph ;I lipps, Hamilton, Potter, Hart, Andrew, Bailey, Motion, Barter and J. Schlaepfer; secretary and treasi' r er, Mr F. E. Simpson; auditor, Mr C. K. Laurie. Mr Schlaepfer was elected one of the delegates to the Wellington conference. It was decided to hold a banquet at Pukekohe, on some date to be arranged, in honor of Mr W. F. Massey, and also at some Tature date when the weather improves a function in which the ladies can participate. The president, secretary, Messrs Lawrie, Pliillipps, J. W. Johns, Barter, I. Motion and B. Hamilton were appointed a committee to make the necessary arrangements. It was resolved to record on the minutes the coincidence that the annual meeting of the parent branch of the Reform League should be held on the night of the day on which Mr Massey's motion of no-confidence was carried.
