DRURY.
A few weeks since Mr Job Milson, a much respected resident of this district, while attending to some machinery at the Drury Brick and Pottery Company's works, where ho was employed, met with what has proved to be a fatal accident. It appears that some part of his clothes became entangled in the belting. The poor man was very much knocked about, and after a great amount of suffering passed away on Tuesday. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved wife and family. Mr S. Fielding's many friends will regret to learn that he had the misfortune to cut his foot with an axe rather badly about a week ago. Result., a week or two's perforced rest andour genial friend will leabout again On Friday evening a grand concert was given in aid of St. John's Church funds. An excellent programme was furnished and greatly appreciated by a crowded house. The hall was packed to the doors, agaiu demonstrating the fact that tho present hall accommodation is altogether insufficient for requirements.
