Runciman.

A few years ago several men were to be seen building cottages, fencing, clearing, and making preparations in this district with a view to fanning their sections here. They were closely watched by others who were on the look-out for something pretty " sure " into which to put their money, who •were afraid to join in the game where hard work seomed to be the only prospect. Now, however, visitors are deeply impressed with the prosperity of those same hard workers of only a few short years ago. One has only to take a drive along any road to be convinced of the truth that here he may safely pick on a section and be sure of something good. A bright future is ahead for farmers here.
