The Pukekohe and Waiuku Times WEDNESDAY, 29th MAY, 1912.
OURSELVES.
11 We nothing extenuate, nor set down aught in malice."
With this iss'ie we have to announce a; change in the proprietary of the " Times." Mr W. Clement Cargill has become a partner and assumes the managership of the paper and of our business as general printers. This decision was made in view of the changes in the size and the more frequent publication of the paper now projected. Mr Cargill, who is a journalist of long experience, takes a keen interest in educational questions. He was first a member of the Wanganui Education Board, which is acknowledged to be one of the most progressive in the Dominion, and subsequently of the Taranaki Education Board. As a member of the Devonport senior team he will no doubt be welcomed to the district by cricketers The editorship of the paper will be controlled by Mr E. J. Eames, as formerly. We are just now in the very midst of the worry associated with the installation of our new machinery, and for the r.ext week or two may have to beseech the indulgence of our readers for such shortcomings as may appear in the paper.
